"Can we get a pet? We really want one." Their mom smiles broadly, nodding her head yes. Dennis looks at Susie then at his mother and says that they would like to adopt a squirrel. Margie looks surprised and pulls out her cell phone. "I was not picturing a squirrel, but let's check out if they would make a good house pet." Thus begins The Squirrel Family.
