Description

Rigveda is the ancient literature of the Hindus. It has been written and rewritten until such time when the methods to preserve the old documents were developed. It dates back to about 1500 B.C. Rigveda's songs are in a language known as the Vedic Sanskrit. People have attempted to translate the Rigveda for the last 3500 years without success. The Hindu priests have used the book as the manual of rituals for centuries. This has misled most of the translators to believe that it essentially describes the methods of performance of the sacrifices. Translations, based on this assumption, neither make any sense to the readers nor even to the translators. The wrong translations continue misleading both the archaeologists in their interpretations of their findings and the historians in writing the early history of India. The author is the first person who has successfully translated the Rigveda. This is the third book in this series.. This translation differs vastly from all other translations, as it is not based on any presumption. It reveals that Rigveda is, in fact, the history of the last phase of the Indus valley civilization. Indra, the leader of the Kaushik Aryans, came to India as a horse-breeder for the war against the Asur tyrant and fought alongside Agni, the commander of the Deva-army. After the end of the Asur-rule in India, the Aryans were allowed to settle in the country. With the presence of the Aryans, Indra felt mightier. He usurped the Deva king and became the sovereign ruler of north India. He replaced all the Devas (the intelligent Indians) with the Danavas (the Greeks) in his government causing lawlessness and chaos in the country. He hunted the learned and the Devas out of the towns, to starvation and misery until complete extinction of the knowledge and the knowledgeable. The book is invaluable for Indologists, historians and archaeoloigists
