Ten markets were analysed: US/Canada, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand and Venezuela. Key points in this report, include: (i) Only 103 European films had a theatrical commercial release outside of Europe in 2010; (ii) The main non-European foreign markets represent about 18% of the world admissions for European films; (iii) Outside of Europe, European films accounted in 2010 for around 3% of the total admissions, while their market share in Europe was 26%.
