Description

China has built new bases to control the South China sea and is rapidly expanding its military strength. Now it is looking to expand its influence into Southern Africa and ultimately control the Cape Sea Route. At the same time, North Korea has successfully tested inter-continental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States with nuclear warheads. President Wilson of the United States is extremely concerned about both the expanding North Korean military capabilities, and also China's efforts to establish a powerful presence in Southern Africa. To counter China's efforts he sends two emissaries to Zimbabwe in an attempt to re-establish diplomatic relations with that despotic country and neutralize the growing threat from China. The emissaries are captured and tortured. Subsequently Kyle Ross, a covert operative with the Puma Group, leads Seal Team 3 in a successful effort to rescue the two emissaries. Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and his vice president, Managwa are enraged and work with North Korean President Kim Yong-in to plan and implement two horrendous terrorist attacks in major cities of the United States. The attacks are well planned, utilizing a little known, but lethal nerve agent. Through successful monitoring of outside communications, the United States is alerted to the planned attacks and manages to foil one, and severely mitigate the damage of the second attack. Notwithstanding, however, several-hundred innocent people are killed. A counter response by President Wilson leads to the killing of President Mugabe and Vice-President Managwa using Predator drones. Following this, President Wilson then sends a team, headed by his Secretary of State, to negotiate the re-establishment of diplomatic relations with Zimbabwe. After an attack on members of the United States Delegation and an unsuccessful attempt on the life of Zimbabwe Acting President Shiri Makoni, diplomatic relations between the United States and Zimbabwe are re-established and Kyle Ross's father is appointed as the new United States Ambassador.
