According to the author: The genesis of this book was simple. I was looking for vampire limericks to do a Halloween reading at a library and couldn't find any. So I wrote a few 5-line poems about the undead to fill the void, so others would not have to face a similar problem. This was not enough material to fill a book, though. So I have added in other limericks written and published over the years, as well as some cartoons and a short story. This is me at my silliest.
