Chapter 4 provides three case studies that offer insight into college practice: Basford Hall College, which uses desktop VC to provide advice and guidance and to offer training programs to the local community; Clarendon College, which offers an interactive television project; and Huddersfield Technical College, which delivers training in the workplace via VC. Each case study offers a summary, background, technical details, uses of the system, and evaluation.
