Contained within one of the cores that dates back to about 150 million years ago, the team exposes a strange metallic object enveloped in a gelatinous substance. The metallic object which appears to be man made and has etchings on its surface appears to have suffered no deteriorating effects over the eons during which it was enveloped in the ice. As the mystery unfolds, the true nature of their discovery is not in the metallic object, but in the effects of the gelatinous substance. Dramatic attempts are made on the lives of the Team members shortly after their discovery by unknown parties who will stop at nothing to gain access to the substance.Members of the Team will question their own beliefs in nature, religion, and scientific facts as they embark upon a quest to determine the origin of the substance, its purpose, and will marvel at the effects of the substance on living cells. They will begin to wonder if the real cradle of life began in the Biblical Garden of Eden or in the Scientifically accepted Fertile Crescent. Dr. Red Herring's Team suddenly finds themselves being drawn into a web of deceit and intrigue while experiencing violent random acts against their lives and careers.
