This is the second volume of my history of Washington Grove, Maryland. The first volume covers the period 1873 to 1937, when the Washington Grove Camp Meeting Association was a private corporation and the land and other assets were the property of the stockholders. This volume explores the period after the Grove became one of the independent municipalities of Montgomery County, Maryland. This edition recreates the text of the first edition verbatim (obvious typos corrected), but also contains Notes to the Second Edition, and an improved index.
