A Boy Scout Troop from Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1999 hiked the National Ice Age Trail from its beginning at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin all the way to Wisconsin Interstate Park at Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. This National Scenic Trail was established in 1980 and since then, hundreds of troops and thousands of individuals have hiked various sections and also completed the entire trail.
