World street photography photobook contains 103 great photos from 47 Photographers from 20 countries. The book contains an extra reportage about the Ashalayam organisation in Kalkota and an index with all photographers within this book. All profit (100%) of this book will directly go to the Ashalayam organisation. Members of the kujaja.com team have always had a soft spot for 'street' photography, so much so that they even launched a sister web site dedicated to good 'street' photography: http://world-street.photography/en/The quality of photography demanded that a 'street' photo book be published. The book has turned into one of the most popular projects we have completed. With some world famous street photographers also getting involved to support the charity work, the final publication turned out to be one if not the best charity books we have ever printed. We decided to print this and distribute it ourselves. It took the team time to find a great printing company and then to do the shipping, but the effort was worthwhile as we managed to cut the costs of the book to allow more sales. As with all our books 100% of the profits will be donated to the small charity that we nominated. The book was published in August 2014 and all the money raised will be going to the Ashalayam Organisation in Kolkata, India. They do amazing work helping street orphans, giving them food, shelter and education. We supported the Ashalayam Organisation with the One Minute on Earth 2013 project and look forward to raising a lot of charity money again for the street kids of Kolkata.See more of our charity photo book projects at: http://www.kujaja.com or at http://world-street.photography
