The structure of a powder is determined and described by the statistical properties of the morphological features of the individual particles composing the powder. Accordingly, the theory of morphology will provide a solid analytical and mathematical foundation suitable for the analysis and characterization of particles, powders, and the interrelationships of their feature measurements. This book is the beginning of our journey to develop a new particle and powder science.
