Sophie is very concerned about a special mission that her mother and father have undertaken with The Shamaness, to go together to Skyview City, in an effort to create a new confederation of the four neighbors of their Quadrant - Chiara, Etescu, and the now freed from the grip of Chiara - Mandar and Tramon.Robert finds himself in the old compound, as Rupo; but the place has been transformed into into The Creativity Center, where a now 16-year old Sophie is living and studying. And Sophie has a particular liking for one of her teachers - Elizabeth Kendall - Beth; who she's most interested in introducing Rupo to! And so a budding romance begins. But Sophie is most intent on finding out about her parents' mission with The Shamaness, and is insistent in going to Centerville to get more details from The Shamaness' aides about what's going on.The Shamaness' aides have been sworn to secrecy, but Sophie can be most stubborn, and Rupo, as The Champion, does carry a lot of clout. So the aides reveal that Skyview City is indeed under attack! That sets Sophie off, and she insists she's going to go there, to see what's going on for herself. Of course there's no arguing with Sophie, so Rupo knows he has to go with her; and Beth insists on going as well. Thus the adventure begins!In Book #4, Robert answers another call to Etescu - but this is a good call: Olivia of Chiara, from Book #2, is getting married! And Robert arrives to the festivities - as Robert! Unfortunately the festivities are interrupted by the kidnapping of Olivia, by the brother of Arthur, the leader of the northern domain of Kaldor, who had been captured at the battle for Skyview City; and Aldon, his brother, is kidnapping Olivia for a number of reasons, among them honor-revenge for Arthur's imprisoning. Aldon is assisted in his effort by the magic of his wizard, Darzel, as Olivia is "transported" into a miniature castle and carried off, before everyone's eyes, at her wedding! And so the chase is on to retrieve Olivia! And it's a very dangerous chase; and even requires the active intervention of The Shamaness herself, to challenge the wizard Darzel, to help in the resolution!
