In the second book of the Time Jumpers series, we find the Montford twins and Black sisters heading to Las Vegas for a new adventure. The first night there, David, Larry, Sarah, and Sabrina meet an old friend, George, who is there on his honeymoon. The twins realize that George and his new wife Mary need money so they decided to use their powers to help the couple win big. However, as David and Larry manipulate the craps table, the casino management becomes suspicious and turns to any means necessary to get the money back. In their efforts to protect the newlyweds, the twins use their powers to cause a night of havoc at the casino and a fight with the Vegas mob. Satisfied that George and Mary will be left alone, the four twins return to New Jersey and plan for a new temporal adventure. The four twins decide to travel back to 1963 Dallas and find out who was really behind JFK's assassination so they can try to prevent it from happening. However, the assassination plot is found to be more complicated than commonly thought and preventing it becomes more difficult than they planned. The four twins are forced to deal with angry mobsters, Cuban Americans, and Secret Service operatives in an effort to change history. Their interventions only produce new problems, causing them to question their ability to change history and the power of fate.
