Transmogrification is more than being transformed; it is being magically transformed with meaning and a sense of accomplishment. Being raised poor can be a hard life but what you learn from your hardships will often be a blessing to you later in life. Getting through life's struggle changes you in the process and teaches you to be resilient and to endure. If you persist, you learn to overcome obstacles that prevent you from moving ahead. If self-improvement is handed to you on a silver platter, it can sometime be meaningless and of little value, but when you work hard to achieve it, you grow and learn its value. Paying your way with your hard work and efforts brings with it a deeper appreciation for whatever you achieve in life. Being unloved and rejected by your friends or family isn't the end of the world for you, the same as it wasn't for me, but it is an obstacle that you will have to overcome. If those around you don't want what is good for you, then it's time for you to chart your own course and decide what is best for yourself. If you have no goal in life, then you have no direction, so take some time to think about what you want out of life and then choose your path. You may wonder how being poor can possibly be a blessing to you. Being poor puts you in touch with what is real in life and makes you appreciate the simple things in life. When you experience hardship in life, you also learn to walk in the shoes of others who are going through difficult times. When you have a hard life growing up, you go through a certain amount of self-denial that changes you and makes you appreciate blessings when they happen. If you learn about life by just listening to what others tell you about it, then you are missing out on what life can teach you by going out and doing it for yourself. You will never fully appreciate the joys in life until you have endured and been tempered by some of its hardships. Taking the easy path in life also isn't what is best for you. If you challenge yourself, then you will rise to the challenge. If you take the hard courses in college, then you challenge yourself and you will then rise to your full potential. If you go to college, the patience that you learned from being poor will help you to eliminate life's distractions and allow you to buckle down with your studies and do your very best. What counts with your college education is not the beautiful framed diploma hanging on the wall, it's what you learned that changed you and made you into a person that can go out in life and make the world a better place and provide for you and those you love. To excel in life, you first have to learn how to overcome yourself. That's why they call life a school, because as you learn daily how to deal with the joys and sorrows in life, and in doing so, you learn how to overcome your weaknesses and how to get by. Just as too little of something can be bad for a person, too much can be equally bad for them as well. Sometimes, kids who have it all given to them turn to drugs and alcohol. Because they didn't have to go through struggles in life, it had no value. There is a bright future out there waiting for you and everything that you do to improve yourself prepares you for it. You may think that you are alone and forgotten, but God lives within you and if you stay close to Him He will go before you and guide you through your life and lead you to a happy life. Don't wait for change to come to you, make it happen. Do something now to start the process. Get a job and if there aren't any, then create one. If you're tired of being poor and want to have a happy and fulfilling life, then read my book and I'll show you how I did it and how you can do it too. The old saying, "If there's a will, there's a way" is true. If you really want something and have the will to do it, then you will find the way. It's up to you to take charge of your life to change it. I know that you can do it!
