FOREWORD Aristotle said women should not bother the brain with politics as this would tap and dry up the womb. Hundreds of millions of women still live under slave-like conditions in parts of Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. About one-third of women worldwide have experienced physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner at some point in their lives. In 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin downgraded domestic violence as an act worthy of punishment with a fine, rather than imprisonment. Article 1 of the United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women defines VAW as: any act of gender-based violence resulting in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, either occurring in public or in private life. (UN 1993) Likewise, domestic violence is defined as: physical, sexual and psychological violence occurring in the family, including battering, sexual abuse of female children in the household, dowry related violence, marital rape, female genital mutilation and other traditional practices that are harmful for women, non-violence use and violence related to exploitation. (UN 1993) The woman carried the original chromosome. Her mother carried the human spur of human communication and social organization, despite the fact that the only star in dawn history has been the man hunter, toolmaker, origin of the species. It was the woman's work, her skills, her biology that held the key to our destiny. Women are the breed itself, the strong primary sex, and the man the biological afterthought. Female is the basic X chromosome a female baby collects just another X at the moment of conception, while the creation of a male requires branching of divergent Y, seen by some as a genetic error, a deformed broken X. The woman's eggs, several hundred times larger than the sperm, carry all the genetic messages the child will ever receive. Women are therefore the original, the first sex. This is a Woman's inferiority in society is a result not of natural differences, but of differences in the upbringing of male and female. Male dominance is not inherent or destined, but conditioned at all stages of development. By the same token, the woman is not born passive, mediocre or immanent. Rather, she is socialized to believe that proper women must embody these qualities and, subtly and not subtly, she is conditioned to believe that denying her true self is the only way to achieve happiness and gain acceptance. To bring about significant changes in society, young boys and girls need to be educated differently from the start. Since they are born equal, the possibility exists that they are equal in adulthood as well as in childhood — but it is up to society to change their skewed perspectives. dismissal of the Christian myth - women have the central role in the development of the species. Women are both valued and reviled for their reproductive function, and one of the central problems in the female situation is the difficulty of reconciling the reproductive capacity of women with their productive capacity. Her productive capacity includes her ability to participate in labor or otherwise contribute to the economics of her community. On closer inspection, one finds that reproduction and production are not mutually sole counseling. A woman's reproductive capacity should not stop her from fulfilling a position in society outside the home. Woman is neither exclusively a worker nor exclusively a womb. In 2004, the All-China Women's Federation compiled survey results to show that thirty percent of families in China experienced domestic violence, with 16 percent of men having beaten their wives. The Chinese Marriage Act was amended in 2001 to offer broking services and reparations to those subjected to domestic violence. Domestic violence was finally criminalized with the 2005amendment of the Law on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Women. But the lack of public awareness of the 2005amendment has allowed abuse to persist within marriage. India's vast size and strongly rooted history in patriarchiate means that conditions for women vary a good deal from one end to the other. Equal rights exist for women according to the Indian constitution, but difficulties for Indian women are still abundant - 68 per cent of women in the world's second-largest nation suffer from some kind of domestic violence and it continues to grow. Dated traditions also attempt to discourage giving birth to daughters, and 300 to 600 thousand pregnancies with female foetuses end each year, according to The Lancet. In Iran politcal women are tortured and raped before execution. Especially young women. They rape 9 year old women in prison because it's against God if they execute a virgin. Women are attacked in various terrible ways, like acid is thrown in the face, hair is burned if it is not covered. That means that just being a woman in Iran is a political crime. The World Economic Forum (WEF)'s annual Gender Gap Report ranked the tiny Middle Eastern nation of Yemen as the worst for women out of the 136 countries listed. Access to education for girls is severely restricted, as many are married before they reach their eighteenth birthday, leaving the female literacy rate with a dismal 35 per cent. As you can imagine, these statistics continue to hurt women later in life the pay gap is astronomical, and women earn only 30 percent of what men do. Contrary to what many may believe, the Iraq war did not improve the lives of Iraqi women. The Iraqi prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has yet to appoint a woman to a senior government role. It's not the only field where women suffer. Over the past thirty years, the number of women in the workforce has greatly depleted. And the problem isn't just at work: Religious leaders regulate women's treatment at home and in marriage, not state laws. In the Bible it is written that women must submit to the man, men are more valuable then women; the woman is inferior; the sons shall perpetuate the genus and the fortune; a wife is a man´s asset; a man can sells his daughter; a man can divorce his wife, a woman cannot separate from her husband. The Quaran says that man is created superior to the woman and the right to discipline her; a woman should satisfy a man´s sexual desires when and how to; Mohamad married a 6 year old girl and the marriage was consummated when the girl had her 9 year birthday.
