Richmond. He can back up every record in showing the descent of a family from a certain ancestor. Dressler was referring to William Cody Richmond Sr.. John Haskel Richmond produced the original daguerreotype photo of the Revolutionary War soldier, and provided proof documentation for all the information he provided to Dressler, proving conclusively that the photo taken in 1848 by the Lyons Daguerreotype Business of an old man in a hand made suit who was holding two walking canes was William Cody Richmond Sr.
